The Accounts Database is a database managed by the Banco de Portugal and contains information received by the participating entities identifying:

• deposit, payment, credit and financial instrument accounts (which were opened on 1 March 2011 or subsequently), and their holders, persons authorised to operate them (natural or legal persons) and beneficial owners;
• safety deposit boxes (which were leased on 27 November 2020 or subsequently) and, their lessees, persons authorised to access them and beneficial owners.
