Digital security - why it is important

Banking products and services can be offered over the internet or through mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, i.e. through digital (online and mobile) channels.

Digital channels allow bank customers to access these products and services anywhere at any time, and faster and more conveniently than traditional channels.

But the use of digital channels also poses risks, related in particular to the misuse of customers’ personal data.

It is therefore important that bank customers know the risks and the precautions they should take to mitigate them.
