OECD highlights the Banco de Portugal’s digital financial education initiatives

The OECD has published the report “Digital Delivery of Financial Education: Design and Practice”, in which it presents the approaches taken by public authorities in several countries in developing, implementing and monitoring digital financial education initiatives.

The financial education initiatives developed by the Banco de Portugal are highlighted in the report. This is the case with the digital financial education campaign #toptip and the webinar ”Navigate Safely - Digital Payments“, which aimed at raising awareness among students and teachers about the precautions to take when using digital financial services. The report also mentions the Bank Customer Website and the services that, through it, the Banco de Portugal provides to bank customers, such as the fees comparator tool and the databases of credit liabilities and banking accounts. The Todos Contam Website and its e-learning platform are also highlighted, as well as the Financial Literacy Week, developed under the National Plan for Financial Education.
