Students from Braga participated in a financial literacy session

On 7 November, through its branch in Braga, Banco de Portugal hosted financial literacy sessions for approximately 180 students of the 3rd cycle of basic education of Agrupamento de Escolas de Real in Braga.

These sessions addressed a number of issues related to the management of personal finances, including planning a family budget and the importance of savings.

This initiative falls under the financial literacy project of Agrupamento de Escolas de Real, recently distinguished with an honourable mention in the 6th Todos Contam competition, an initiative of the National Council of Financial Supervisors and the Ministry of Education (Directorate General of Education and the National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education).
