Complaining about an institution

Present a complaint if you believe that an institution or credit intermediary has acted inappropriately in selling any retail banking product and service:

  • by filling in the complaints book of the respective institution;

  • directly to Banco de Portugal, by letter or through the form available on this page.

Take note of the reference assigned to the complaint after it has been submitted. This reference will be required to send additional information or to check the status of your complaint.
