A non-SEPA+ credit transfer is a transfer of funds in which the amount of the payer, the payee or both is not based in the SEPA area (which includes the 27 Member States of the European Union, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the Vatican), or in which the transfer is made in a currency other than the euro, the Swedish kronor or the Romanian leu, even where the institution of the originator, of the beneficiary or of both is based in the SEPA area.

Non-SEPA+ transfers are, for example: (i) the transfer of funds in Danish krona between accounts based in Portugal and Denmark, or (ii) the transfer of funds made in euro between accounts based in Portugal and Canada.
