Banco de Portugal, European Commission and OECD reflect on digital financial literacy

On 8 March, the Banco de Portugal, the European Commission and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will promote a workshop on digital financial literacy.

This workshop, which will take place at the Money Museum in Lisbon, is part of the project funded by the European Union and developed by the Banco de Portugal with the support of the OECD to develop a digital financial literacy strategy for Portugal.

The workshop will present the main findings on the survey on existing digital financial education provision and activities in Portugal, as conducted within the scope of that project.

The main challenges and objectives associated with developing a digital financial literacy strategy will also be analysed and national and international experiences in empowering citizens to access financial products and services through digital channels will be shared.
