Banco de Portugal, European Commission and OECD present a Digital Financial Literacy Strategy for Portugal

On 10 May, the Banco de Portugal, the European Commission and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) promote the conference “Digital Financial Literacy: a Strategy for Portugal”, at the Money Museum in Lisbon, to disclose the Digital Financial Literacy Strategy for Portugal.

This conference will present the recommendations of the Digital Financial Literacy Strategy for Portugal, its main lines of action and how it will be implemented among different target audiences.

The Strategy was prepared through an in-depth diagnosis of digital financial literacy in Portugal, based on a questionnaire of national partners involved in promoting digital financial literacy, an international workshop to discuss the results of the questionnaire and a survey of the Portuguese population to assess its levels of digital financial literacy. The Strategy was designed with technical support from the OECD as part of a project funded by the European Union via the Technical Support Instrument of the European Commission Directorate General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM).
